As has occurred since 2002, the 10th Brazilian Symposium on Artificial Neural Networks (SBRN) and the 19th Brazilian Symposium on Artificial Intelligence (SBIA) will be collocated, this time also with the Brazilian Intelligent Robotics Symposium (JRI), in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, October 26-30, 2008.
SBRN is the leading conference in Brazil dedicated to Neural Networks (NNs) and other models of computational intelligence. The emphasis of the Conference is on original theories and novel applications of these computational models. SBRN is co-sponsored by SIG/INNS/Brazil Special Interest Group of the International Neural Networks Society in Brazil. SBRN is an international conference, with papers written in English, an international program committee, and proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society.
Besides the rich scientific program, with several talks and tutorials given by distinguished invited speakers and technical papers, there are also the cultural highlights of Salvador: one of the most beautiful cities in Brazil, with very nice beaches and islands, rich culture and great food! Therefore, we invite the AI, ANN and Robotics communities to join us and make this event a very exciting one. Hope to see you there!
